Working with acrylic and mixed media, I interpret the landscape not as a fixed place but as a sensory experience, infused with memory, colour, and emotion.
The painting captures the essence of the region’s contrasts — urban structures nestled within organic landforms, the softness of eucalyptus foliage against stark geological formations, and the spontaneous dialogue between built and natural worlds. Rather than replicate the physical environment, I seek to evoke its spirit, layering expressive brushwork and intuitive marks to reflect the way a place is felt as much as seen.
