Somewhere Between Here and Home

Somewhere Between Here and Home is a vibrant abstract landscape exploring the emotional space between the places we leave behind and the life we create ahead. Winding paths, flowing waterways, distant hills and small human-made structures emerge through expressive layers of colour and mark-making.

The painting does not describe one particular location. Instead, it brings together fragments of remembered and imagined landscapes—as though different places are living within us at the same time. Warm oranges and yellows carry optimism and energy, while soft blues create moments of reflection and calm.

Created in acrylic on canvas and presented in a natural oak frame, this original artwork brings colour, movement and a deeply personal sense of place into a contemporary interior.
